Falcon Football Preview Week 3

The 2007 Black Attack play at home for the first time this season. The 1-1 Falcons will host the 1-1 Hagerstown Tigers. The Falcons are coming off of a tough loss at Northeastern losing in overtime 27-26. This was after the Falcons had a 20-6 lead, but the momentum swung and the Falcons suffered the loss. This was after an offensive explosion the week before at Alexandria 41-20 avenging last years playoff loss. The loss at Northeastern also posted a loss for the Falcons in the TEC conference now 0-1.Hagerstown is coming into Friday nights contest with a huge 35-0 win over Knightstown. They were shut out the first week by always strong Lawerenceburg 20-0.Hagerstown is led by quarterback Chad Liberman and back Chris Doyen who is leading the Tigers in both rushing an receiving.Winchesters attack is led by quarterback Brock Morrison who is 21 for 33 for 283 yards (see stats blog) in passing completing to a wealth of receivers. The Falcons have rushed for 386 yards being led by Lucas Wickersham.

According to the Sagarin formula Hagerstown is a 4 point favorite. However, the Falcons will be hungry for a victory in front of the hometown fans.Keys to a victory for the Falcons will be a better focus on defense, staying at home and making the good tackle. Secondly, getting the offense back on track against a Hagerstown defense that pitched a shut out last week.
