WCHS Lady Falcon County Track Meet Results

The small but mighty Lady Falcons have been working hard all season long
towards the County meet. They all came out strong against all the County
schools and fought hard to bring home the County trophy! The Lady Falcons
won County with 86 points collectively as a team. There were several
county champions that paved the way for the Lady Falcons victory.
Brittany Shepherd was a County champion in the 300 M Hurdles, Ashleigh
Maggart won the 100 m high hurdles, Whitney Wiist took the 1600 m Run, the
4x1 team which consisted of: Brittany Shepherd, Mollie Ried, Emily Sells,
and Janelle Hinty took a strong first place finish, and the 4x4 team which
consisted of: Ciara Ogle, Emily Sells, Kaylie Fraze, and Brittany Shepherd
ran away from the competition at the end of the night. Other team
qualifiers were Ashleigh Maggart finishing 2nd in the 300 m low hurdles,
Jennifer Greene finished 4th in the disc, Brittany Shepherd finished 2nd
in the high jump, Emily Sells finished 3rd in the 100 m dash and 4th in
the long jump, Olivia Wickersham placed 5th in the 1600m and 4th in the
3200m, Whitney Wiist also finished 2nd in the 3200m run, Ciara Ogle
finished 2nd in the 800 m, and Kaylie Fraze finished 4th in the 800m run.
The 3200 m relay finished 2nd which consisted of Kaylie Fraze, Olivia
Wickersham, Whitney Wiist, and Ciara Ogle.

Congratulations to all of the Lady Falcon's for all of their hard work
this season as it paid off with a County victory!!! Check out the Lady
Falcon's trophy in the display case.

The Lady Falcon's perform again tonight at the Sectional track meet at
Muncie Southside, we hope to see you all there as they run to qualify for
the regional meet.
